1ST Grade Match Summary Round 5 v Port Adelaide

We lost the toss again and were bowling on a flat wicket at Bice. Port got off to a flyer and were 1/120 at lunch. A couple of big partnerships for Port had them in a position to declare 6/364 at the 84 over mark. This left us with 10 overs to bat late on Day 1 which we got through unbeaten finishing the day 0/43. Southern District Cricket Club is proud to announce that Rilee Endersby & Jack Roberts have both been selected in the SACA U17 State Side for this years National Championships. Since Rilee and Jack arrived at the club from their local clubs Mount Compass Cricket Club - Home of the mighty Bulls and Strathalbyn Cricket Club respectively, both have made their way through our junior and senior set ups, making their First Grade debut’s this season. Guillaume Stander is our Senior Player of the Round. Gilly took 5/101 with the ball and made 43 with the bat vs Sturt in the 4th Grade.

JUNIOR PLAYER OF THE ROUND 4 NOAH HANKS

Noah Hanks is our Junior Player of the Round for Round 4. Noah took 6/30 from 8 overs and made 36 runs opening the batting as the captain of the U14 Reds vs Sturt.
